A bottle of Pinot Grigio would make a great addition to any dinner table. Pinot Grigio is a dry white wine that goes well with pasta, poultry, salads, and seafood. Perhaps you would prefer a dry red to accompany your meal, may I suggest a bottle of Chianti. Other than being the drink of choice for Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a nice Chianti goes well with a variety of pasta dishes, fava beans and meats. Are you getting hungry yet?
After dinner, try a nice bottle of Riesling wine. A bottle of Riesling is a great dessert variety. Try it with your next piece of pie or as a nice way to relax. Speaking of great dessert wines, have you hear of Eiswein? I’m sure you have, but you may have come across it in this spelling: “icewine.” The German wine producers spell it as “Eiswein,” while the Canadian and non-German producers spell it as “Icewine.” Therefore, do not be confused it you come across one of the different spellings. They both taste great. In case you are wondering, an Eiswein is made from frozen grapes, thus the creative name of Icewine.
